Statoil, Faroe Islands

At the Statoil headquarters on the Faroe Islands, the Skandi-Bo Indoor ID85 range was used in combination with light wood doors. The architect wanted to take advantage of the beauty of the islands and create unobstructed views of the sea, cliffs and wild nature. Standard plaster walls would hide the views, and he turned to a partnership with Skandi-Bo to create a solution with glass separating walls, which made the landscape the main feature. He has also chosen to decorate the glass walls with a foil on the lower part of the wall, in order to hide things that do not need to be visible.
